Computational Thinking
One coding site that is used at the school is FreeCodeCamp.org. It is only used in Computer Studies and it contains thousands of lessons and modules for students and teachers to explore. A beneficial point of this site is that it is essentially self-led and it has video tutorials to guide individuals through. I have not used it myself, but one potential critique is that some tutorials may not be as clear as they could be. They often show the visual of how to do it, but may not always include verbal/written instructions.
I am not aware of a second coding application at the school, but Scratch Coding was very easy to use and understand. The video tutorial had written and visual instructions and I enjoyed the variety of tutorials available.
